Introducing locked branches. When this option is enabled, a learner must ask a parent question before receiving a response to the dependant question.

To enable this option,navigate to your Virtual Human: In this example let's examine the Presenting Complaint:

The presenting complaint should represent the "Parent questions" Subsequent questions under the presenting complaint such as "Pain Site" are dependant on the Parent question and should be locked.

Once you toggle the locked branch option on, the learner must ensure they address the presenting complaint before inquiring about the pain site.
