Creating a course is the best way of organizing your learning into a series of progressive modules. You can add simulations so they make a learning journey that your learners can easily access and gives them a progressive, guided route to achieve their learning objectives.

  1. From the dashboard view, select the "Courses" item in the main navigation list:

  2. You should now see a grid of courses available to you in the main content area. Select the "Create New Course" button in the top right-hand side of the window:

  3. A pop-up box will appear, enter the course name and description

  4. You should then be presented with a form to enter details about your new course:

  5. The fields are:

    • Course Image - This is the image that will be used as your courses' list item in the main view. This can be of JPG/PNG file format.

    • Title - The title of the course,

    • Description - An optional description for your course, so that users know what to expect from the content.

    • Start Date - An optional start date for your course.

    • End Date - An optional end date for your course.

    • Publish Course- Toggle to "Publish" or "Unpublish"

      • "Unpublished" means that the course will be visible to admin users only,

      • "Published" means that the course will be visible to all users, regardless of admin status, who are in any user groups this course is made available to.

    • Unlock all units- Allow the learner to access all modules/simulations within the course without the requirement of passing the previous module.

    • User Groups - enable the course for a specific group

    • Course structure- Here is where you add the modules for your course.

    • Pick Content -Drag the simulation from this column to the module under course structure. You can also toggle to virtual human to drag a avatar case to a module

  6. When you are finished entering the details of the course, hit the "Save New Course" button on the bottom right-hand side of the window. (please note that not all of the detail form fields are required, but you'll be prompted to fill out any required ones that are left out-standing when hitting the save button).
